To improve this you could add DROP CAPS to the first paragraph. In addition, you could change the typeface to show that you have made a design decision rather than leaving it as the default font.
Add a pull quote in a frame to improve your work. Make sure you use a different font to make it stand out. You could also use a colour for the text in the pull quote that matches with one in the photo.
